What Honor?

Recently, New York's Michael Bloomberg was knighted by the Queen of England. Since there has been no greater proponent of turning America into an over-regulated nanny state and no greater opponent of the Second Amendment, it makes perfect sense that the country that paved the way in so tyrannizing its citizens (apologies, I mean "subjects") should honor his attempts to spread such pernicious ideals. He served the globalists' message well, and now he receives his merited reward.

For the rest of us, well, remember, this is what the elites honor. Restricting your rights, by whatever means possible, is their highest ideal. They do not serve you, they serve themselves.

But we have a choice. We can continue feeding the beast, honoring those the elites honor, consuming entertainment media, and lifting up athletes, actors, and politicians as our replacement God. We can heed their heartfelt pleas to give up our freedom, and take up our chains happily. We will deserve each link.

Or, we can stand apart from them. We can raise up our own heroes,  and above them, as our highest ideal, our God. We can give our honor to those who fight for us, rather than against us We can make them knights of them people, rather than knights of a crown.

The first step in rebuilding our culture is rebuilding our ideals. I want you, today, to think of someone who embodies your ideals. Maybe they are an evangelist, spreading the word of God? Maybe they are a conservative, working for the preservation of traditional values? Maybe they are a patriot, striving to strengthen the freedom of their own countrymen?

Pick one of these people and tell someone, just one person, who they are, what they do, and why they are worthy of your honor. If we could do this, just this, we could begin to change our situation. We can show our countrymen true honor.
